Here are our most frequently asked questions.
Q:
Who can consign?
A: Anyone who has gently used children's
and maternity items that they would like to sell.
Q: How do I get my
tags?
A: You can create & print your own tags by
clicking here. Please print tags on white
cardstock paper only. If you don't have access to a computer please
let us know and we will print them for you. There is a fee
associated with printing and mailing your tags to you. Please
contact us for more information.
Q: How much do consignors
earn?
A: Consignors earn 70% of their sales minus a $10 registration
fee. The registration fee is deducted from your check. No need to
pay up front! Please visit the
volunteers section to see how we will waive your $10
registration fee!
Q: Is there a minimum or
maximum number of items I can bring?
A: No, there are no minimum or maximum number of items needed
to participate. However, we do suggest that you have at least 25
items to sell in order for you to receive a good return on your
sales. The 25 items is just a guideline feel free to bring as little
or as much as you want.
Q: Where do I find metal hangers?
A: Check you local dry cleaners. Many times they will give
them to you at no charge or for a minimal fee.
Q: Do I have to pick up my items after the
sale?
A: If you would like your items returned to you, you MUST pick them
up at the designated time. If you would like to donate your unsold
items we donate to many worthwhile charities!
Q: Can I bring my children to the sale?
A: Yes, we always like to meet the children of our Cents &
Sensibility Consignment friends! However, they must stay under your
control at all times.
Q: Can we try on clothing?
A: Sorry, but no. Please bring the current measurements and
sizes of your children to the sale to aid in choosing the correct
sizes.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: All sales are final. Please thoroughly check all
merchandise before you purchase. Once the items are paid for no
returns or refunds will be given for any reason.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Cash, PA state checks with proper ID, Visa
& MasterCard.
(All returned checks will be charged a $35 fee.)
Q: Do I have to be a consignor in order to
volunteer?
A: Absolutely Not! We love all volunteers even if they don't
consign. If you would like to receive the perks of volunteering
please follow this link.
Q: Can I bring my children with me to my
volunteer shift(s)?
A: We love children as much as you do! However, children are
not permitted to be with you while volunteering your shift. All
other times children are allowed to accompany you. We love to meet
the children of our Cents & Sensibility friends!

shift(s)?
A: Please refer to our
volunteer policy.
